SHOPPING EVOLUTION – digitization is radically changing the world of shopping. Trading is increasingly taking place online. However, many e-commerce retailers have started offering their goods over the counter.
Those who have multi-channel skills and know how to combine online and offline skillfully are successful.
The 2017 annual report of Deutsche EuroShop takes this trend as a topic. The motto “Shopping Evolution” shows how new hybrid concepts will emerge from the classic and digital shopping world in the future. This is also reflected in the cover: a young woman shopping - hand-in-hand with a robot. The report is presented in a modern magazine style. Striking typography combined with intentional white space creates reading incentives and shapes the unusual design. A special haptic and visual highlight is the metallic foil, which was refined with screen printing, offset printing and 3D relief lacquer.
