With its Sustainability Report 2024, Flender impressively demonstrates what responsibility in industry can look like in concrete terms – and how forward-looking sustainability reporting can be implemented in line with new regulatory requirements such as the CSRD.
The Silvester Group provided comprehensive support for the project – from content and conceptual advice to text creation and design implementation.
The focus of the project was the realignment in line with the requirements of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). Together with Flender, we carried out a double materiality analysis and, based on this, redesigned the report structure and strategic content. This process is particularly tangible in the strategy chapter: The results of the materiality analysis are clearly presented, key action areas are defined and embedded in the overarching business strategy. Throughout the report, the company’s ESG challenges and opportunities, and its progress are transparently brought to the point. Specific developments – for example in the areas of waste prevention, energy efficiency or human rights due diligence – are presented in a comprehensible manner and underpinned by clear target systems.
The design concept is a highlight: modern, uncluttered and brand-oriented – it optimally supports the clarity of the content and also makes the report a showcase example in terms of design.
The renewed award of the EcoVadis platinum medal confirms Flender’s high standards in sustainability management – and makes the report a strong sign of the transformation towards greater sustainability.
